- Charles is the Editor-in-Chief of Portner Press’s Employment Law Practical Handbook, and is Partner and head of the employment law department of Holding Redlich Lawyers.
Charles has a strong practice representing employers in all aspects of employment and industrial law and is accredited by the Law Institute of Victoria as a Workplace Relations Specialist. He is a member of the Advisory Board to the Centre for Employment & Labour Relations Law, University of Melbourne and the Australian Human Resources Institute. Charles is a former associate to a Senior Deputy President of the Australian Industrial Relations Commission and a former senior adviser to a federal government minister. He was the joint winner of Industrial Arbitration Prize in 1992.
